Private party bus hire for hen dos, stag weekends, and birthday groups in Amsterdam. Real prices, what's allowed onboard, popular routes, and how to keep the group safe from Schiphol to the canals.

Planning a hen weekend or stag do in Amsterdam? You're not alone — over 200,000 UK and Irish stag/hen groups visit Amsterdam each year. The biggest mistake? Splitting into Ubers between venues. A private party bus keeps the group together, lets you drink legally between stops, and turns transfers into part of the party. Here's the 2026 guide every Best Man and Maid of Honour should read.

Why a party bus beats Ubers and trams

Amsterdam's nightlife is spread out — Red Light District, De Pijp, NDSM, Leidseplein. Splitting your group across 4 Ubers means losing people, missing reservations, and paying €60+ per trip. A private bus keeps everyone together and costs less per person for groups of 10+.

  • 🍻 Everyone stays together — no lost bridesmaids at 2 AM
  • 🎵 Bluetooth sound system for your playlist
  • 🥂 Alcohol allowed onboard (within reason — see house rules)
  • 📸 Standing room in our bigger buses for photos and dancing
  • 💰 €15-25/person for groups of 12-20 (cheaper than Ubers)
  • 🛟 Sober driver = no group ends in trouble

💡 Our most popular hen/stag package: 6-hour evening bus from hotel → restaurant → club, then door-to-door return. €450 for up to 19 people.

Vehicle options for hen/stag groups

Match the vehicle to your group size and vibe. Smaller groups get more intimacy; bigger groups need a coach or double-decker for the wow factor.

  • 👥 8-15 people → Mercedes Sprinter (€350-€450 for 5h)
  • 👥 16-19 people → Sprinter XL (€450-€600 for 5h)
  • 👥 20-29 people → Midi coach (€550-€750 for 5h)
  • 👥 30-49 people → Full coach with sound system (€700-€950)
  • 👥 50-80 people → Double-decker — Instagram-perfect (€1,000-€1,400)

House rules — what's allowed onboard

We're flexible — but Dutch law and our insurance set limits. Knowing the rules upfront prevents awkward conversations with the driver.

  • ✅ Alcohol in moderation (beers, prosecco, spirits in cups)
  • ✅ Bluetooth music, themed decorations, costumes
  • ✅ Standing during stops (for photos in the double-decker)
  • ❌ No smoking or vaping inside the bus (smoking stops every 2h)
  • ❌ No drugs (Dutch law — and the driver loses his license)
  • ❌ No glass bottles standing on tables (safety while moving)
  • ❌ No throwing-up bags as decoration 😅 (clean-up fees apply for vomit damage)

⚠️ One sick bag is normal. We charge a €150 cleaning fee for serious incidents (vomit on seats/floor). Most groups never trigger this.

Popular Amsterdam hen/stag routes

These are the bus loops we run most often for groups. Mix and match based on your itinerary.

  • 🍺 Schiphol → Hotel → Heineken Experience → Red Light → Club Air
  • 🍔 Hotel → Foodhallen → Vondelpark photos → De School (techno club)
  • 🌊 Brewery tour → A'DAM Tower → NDSM Wharf → late-night Westerpark
  • 🎤 Karaoke crawl: Brouwerij 't IJ → Cafe Smalle → Karaoke Brouwerij IJ
  • 🛥️ Combo bus + canal cruise: bus to Centraal → 90-min cruise → bus to dinner

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we collect from Schiphol Airport?

Yes — most groups arrive together at Schiphol. We meet you at arrivals with a name board, load luggage to your hotel, then start the evening bus from there. Add €50 to the standard quote for airport pickup.

Is there a corkage fee for our own drinks?

No corkage. Bring your own beers, prosecco, or spirits — we provide cups, ice, and a cool box on request (free for 6h+ bookings). Stops at bottle shops are fine.

Can we have a stripper or strippergram onboard?

We allow performers (we don't judge — it's Amsterdam) but the bus must be parked. Performances during driving are not safe. Tell us at booking so the driver expects it.

What if someone gets sick or arrested?

Sick: driver pulls over, you clean up if mild. We have first aid + sick bags onboard. Arrested: rare but happens — police usually release within a few hours. The bus waits or returns later for the person.

How do we pay — one person or split?

One person books and pays (usually Best Man / Maid of Honour). Easiest to use Splitwise or Tikkie to recover from the group. We invoice in EUR by card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
